Richard S Deems, PhD
Richard has worked with thousands of individuals and organizations from coast to coast. He’s been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Executive Excellence, Canadian Business Journal, International Herald Tribune, and even The Sporting News. Richard is the author of thirteen books on key management issues, including two best-sellers. And, he and his daughter Terri, are co-authors of Leading in Tough Times, The Manager’s Pocket Guide™ to Downsizing With Confidence, and Energize! Making Change Work For You, 2nd Edition (to be released in ’09)
His blend of humor, motivation, energy, and insight into leadership has led him to be a popular speaker, seminar leader, and leadership/team development specialist. His primary work is in the areas of leadership development, team effectiveness, career development, and leading others through change. Terri A Deems, PhD
Terri was the year 2000 recipient of a Cutting Edge Award for her research in the vital workplace, presented by the Academy of Human Resource Development. She has presented her research on personal and organizational change and development at several national and international conferences. In addition to consulting, coaching, and training, Terri is an adjunct professor working with graduate and undergraduate students at local universities.
Terri’s areas of specialty include developing the vital workplace, ethics, team development, and assisting organizations develop a higher quality of work/life and a more critical consciousness. Terri can be reached at TADeems@worklifedesign.com
Sandra Brownfield Deems, MKC
Sandie is an internationally recognized leadership coach. She’s a coach’s coach. Her specialty is in showing leaders how to hire the right people, how to effectively lead others, and how to form teams with at least an 89% probability of goal attainment and sustained forward movement.
Sandie is one of three, worldwide, Master Kolbe Consultants, using the Kolbe Wisdom™ to enhance productivity, develop teams, and show leaders how to get more done and have more fun doing it! She’s worked with thousands of individuals to identify barriers to effectiveness, identify people’s natural instincts for taking action, and identify actions for high performance. Betsy McKnight Latko, MA
An international trainer, Betsy is a communications specialist. She applies her expertise in communications to the areas of team development, presentation skills, supervision and management, and organizational effectiveness. Her Supervision 101 course is, as one manager said, “The best course for supervisors I’ve ever seen!”
