Creating and Leading Change
(That Makes a Difference)

Change has been with us since our very beginning.  Changing bodies.  Changing foods.  Changing fads.  Changing weather.  Changing technology.  It's what we've experienced constantly since birth.  Humans are programmed for change - it is as natural to humans as breathing.

The World Future Society projects there will be more change in the next decade than in the past 200 years! Research shows, though, that when it comes to organizational change, most initiatives fail to achieve the desired outcomes. That turns into a tremendous waste of time, money, and resources.

If change is so natural to us, why is it often so difficult?

Our change management services ensure that you can make change work! We'll partner with you to...

  • Identify barriers and develop strategies so you can create meaningful change.
  • Develop a workplace culture and climate where everyone is a change agent.
  • Coach and train leaders in planning, organizing, and implementing change that makes sense and is supported by the stakeholders.
  • Effectively lead others through change.
  • Give your people the knowledge and skills to make change work (because when change works for the individual, it works for the organization!).
  • Ensure change is sustainable - change that sticks.
  • Manage the intense times - because some days will be intense.

As part of Richard S Deems, PhD, doctoral research he investigated several hundred people who took a new position with a new boss in a new location, all at the same time.  From this information he designed learning programs to assist people in making these changes. And he's still designing new evidence-based programs to show people and organizations how to make change work.

Richard's research is the basis for his best selling Making Change Work For You!, soon to be released in its second edition.

The team at WorkLife Design is ready to work with you to develop the most effective plans for workplace transformation!
